Tsunami come from japannese language Tsu = Pier and Nami = Wave.. so tsunami mean big wave in the pier.

Tsunami is a sudden movement tht caused by ocean surface that changed suddenly vertically.
This change can be caused by Earthquake ini Ocean Bottom, Landslide in Ocean bottom, or Meteor that Hitting Ocean Surface.
Tsunami Speed is Around 500 to 1000 Km per Hour.

Tsunami Wave can be went onto Surface from The beach until Couple Km
Negative side from Tsunami is that Everything that been sweeped byu Tsunami will be destroyed.

Historian called Thuncydides from greece was the first person that linking the Tsunami with other earthquake. But at 20th century, science knowing about what causing tsunami is still minimum, Research still conducted until now to understand the causes of Tsunami.

1883- 26August, Krakatau Mountain Erupted Causing Tsunami That Killed around 36.000 Victim
2004- 25-26 December, Big Earthquake that killed around 250.000 Victim in Souh Asia, SOuth East Asia, and Africa. Tsunami Height is Around 35 M
2006- 17 july Earth quake that causing Tsunami occured in South of Java Island,Indonesia and at max height 21 M in Nusakambangan Island. Killing more than 500 Victim. And came from south of Cinamis City.
2007- 12 September, Bengkulu, killing 3 person, Tsunamu Height around 3-4 M
2010-7 February, Santiagi, Chile
